In most cases after 24 hours there is a new balance within the body and that new place of comfort give the client the ability to sleep better, move more fluidly, and see the world with a fresh perspective. Your acupuncture treatment may consist of acupoints stimulated with hair-thin needles that access meridians within the body. If you and your practitioner agree you may also receive electrical stimulation (e-stim) which can potentiate the treatment and is especially good for acute and/or chronic pain.
